ALFIE UPDATE! I am waiting on a photo, which I will add when I receive, however my head is going to explode with excitement if I don’t post now 😂😂😂😂

First and foremost I want to thank DVM’s Maya Lottati, Natalia Soto, Jasmine Amini and the entire staff at TrueCare for pets Hospital for their amazing 24 hour 3 day care of our boy Alfie ❤️ We never gave up on him, he never gave up on us and THEY worked diligently around the clock to help us continue to help him ❤️

I spoke to the Doc an hour ago who told me Alfie is doing GREAT! Now this boys platelets went from ZERO to 108K under their care, without needing a transfusion AND he has been upgraded from critical to guarded. He is NO LONGER in danger of bleeding out 🎉🎉🎉 His WBC Neutrophils have sky rocketed however, and the concern of course is possible cancer in his spleen. So he stills remains guarded and will remain under treatment when he comes home to the The Pet Doctors of Sherman Oaks tomorrow for continual treatment AND I am gonna be right there to give him the biggest hug ❤️❤️❤️

I cannot tell you the stress, worry and sleepless nights I have had these past few days 😩 Being at that point where everyone was talking about me being prepared to make that final decision 😩 I kept fighting for him, I could see he had a will to live, I kept saying “ let’s give him 24 more hours”, I never gave up on him, I asked only that he never gave up on us, I told him WE BELIEVE, and to please hang on 🙏🙏

Though born and raised, I am not a practicing Catholic, I am however very spiritual and I do believe in the power of prayer. I have seen animals come in on death’s door and rebound to go on to enjoy time knowing and feeling love, I have witnessed every day ordinary little miracles and I don’t take that lightly.

Now I have to laugh at my hero and all time favorite Vet, VMD Missy Achenbach who I absolutely adore, respect and admire. When the other doctors first saw Alfie, well let’s just say it looked hopeless 😩 Missy flat out told them all “ be prepared Toby Wisneski is hard to get rid of”😂😂😂 That was the greatest compliment I have ever received because she knows I never give up ❤️

So all I kept asking for was 24 hours at a time and very soon this little man will get to enjoy some time in a loving home ❤️ My heart felt thank you to everyone who donated to help Alfie and to everyone who joined me in prayer and to everyone who stood by me during this very difficult and stressful time. Thank you for all you do for the animals and I can finally say “ Happy New Year Alfie” and thanks for never giving up on us ❤️❤️❤️❤️ tw, LNPB #theirlifematters #wherethereisLOVEthereisHOPE
