It was a very busy yet quiet day today and my fur boys were so calm and so loving almost as if they knew it was a tough day for their mom 🙁 It is so hard for me to believe it has been 6 years since my best friend of 13 years bid me a heart breaking good bye.
Alley taught me so many life lessons over our years together and she has helped make me the person I am today. Not one day goes by where I don't miss her infamous golden smile and her loving nudges of my arm with her nose ❤️
My Chauncy grieved for months over the loss of his BFF and Pops, well, bless his little heart, he always gave Alley a hard time 🤣 I will never forget the day Pops had to be sedated for a procedure and came home in such a fog. Alley went up to him nose to nose, as if she knew he was out of sorts and then she licked his little face AND he let her, it was the most touching scene I have ever witnessed ❤ Rambo never knew Alley although I do believe Alley guided me to him and let me know it was time to open my heart to another big dog, she knew he needed me and I needed him ❤
Oh how I still miss my big girl and her very gentle and loving ways. Rambo stepped up to be our protector, and even though he had some pretty " big paws" to fill, he did, and still does, a great job. Popcorn continues to make my heart smile with his whirling, twirling and all of his cute little antics and Alfie has Alley's kind and loving spirit ❤ They are my dogs, my four legged little family fur members who continue to watch out for their mom as mom watches out for them, and oh how I love them ❤ tw, LNPB
Good night sweet angel Alley, until we meet again, mommy loves and misses you so. Thanks for watching over us and taking good care of our boy Chauncy and please know that you are always and forever in my heart ❤ Until we meet again sweet girl....❤
