Meet Raven, a beautiful 6-7 month old Lab who today, by the grace of God, will be celebrating #NationalBlackDogDay with her family ❤️
Raven’s story sadly is not uncommon and we urge you all to PLEASE monitor your pets on walks and KEEP THEM OFF OF NEIGHBORS LAWNS! Raven’s daddy was walking her and she stopped to sniff the edges of their neighbors lawn and then begin licking and chewing on something. Shortly thereafter Raven fell ill and began to have tremors. Her Dad frantically called several vets to no avail and at that point time was of the essence.
A friend mentioned that he try “ the new vet on Amar “ and the rest is history ❤️ Raven is improving and even being a “ playful Lab”, she will leave ER this morning, return to the Leave No Paws Behind Veterinary Clinic and hopefully get to go home to her family later today ❤️
Not every story like Raven’s has a happy ending, she was lucky that her daddy took quick action and was able to find a vet that did not turn them away ❤️ PLEASE, PLEASE PROTECT YOUR PETS! I never allow my dogs to go on lawns EVER for just this reason! Raven’s dad spoke with his neighbor, who broke down in tears, and helped him wash down his lawn 🙏🙏
Thank you again for your continued love and support, your kind donations and for all you do for the animals ❤️ tw, LNPB
