Sadly Leave No Paws Behind, Inc. absolutely can no longer take ANY " leaps of faith" going forward due to the struggle of finding fosters for our remaining 3 Hurricane Harvey Rescues. Rescues rescue HOWEVER Fosters are the one who save lives! Sadly our paws are tied without fosters and while it breaks my heart to see your pleas and postings of our beloved seniors, we just cannot help if we do not have a place for them go :-( Seniors are the at the top of the kill list and they so deserve to know how much their life matters ❤️ It takes a Village to save life, we cannot do this alone.
Due to the foster need LNPB HAS EXPANDED AND opened up our foster base to San Diego, Palm Springs, Hesperia, Corona, Riverside, Long Beach, Ventura County, Torrance and all neighboring LOS ANGELES and ORANGE COUNTY cities! In doing so we are hoping to be able to entice and encourage more fosters so we can continue to help so many more seniors in need! For more information on how you can become part of our ever growing network of human angel fosters in So Ca. please e mail email@example.com. Here at LNPB we do what we do because, no matter what, their life matters All they need is a loving home and a soft bed and to know they are not alone, we take care of all medical. Please don't let them die alone and wondering :-( Thank you <3 tw, LNPB
How our foster program works right here at Leave No Paws Behind, Inc.! Here at LNPB we specialize in seniors, and animals with special medical needs and we do not hesitate to rescue those that are terminal or at the end of their life. The animals we rescue more oft then not are considered " non adoptable" as 99% of them come to us with major illnesses that require on going medical care. Those animals are placed in loving long term or hospice foster care and LNPB continues to care for their medical needs for as long as needed while our fosters continue to provide a safe and loving home. On the very rare occasion when one of our seniors suffers with minor ailments or a medical condition that will clear up over time, they are placed with a loving ST foster until they have been medically released and are ready to find their forever home. We are always in need of loving and life saving fosters in the Los Angeles, Orange County, Ventura County, San Diego ,Ca and surrounding areas and please note that we do not adopt or foster out of state.
A senior animal that comes to us unaltered ( waived by the shelter due to age and medical ) is not adoptable unless our DVM's think that S/N will in no way jeopardize the animals health. Most times these animals are between the ages of 13-17 years old and unless they are in need of an emergency life saving surgery they are deferred and placed in loving foster homes while they remain under our care.
The difference between their life and death is a place to call home <3
