This big fella had some mighty “ big paws “ to fill and I swear most days he came into my life via divine intervention ❤️ I did not think I could or would ever be able to open my heart to another “ big dog “ after losing Alley, Rambo proved me wrong ❤️ From the moment he came here he stepped right up to be the protector, the comforter and all around perfect dog. He is so loving, so gentle with the boys and he never lets me get to far out of sight.
Rambo’s long, painful and tedious recovery was nothing short of miraculous. We never gave up on him, he never gave up on us, and though he will remain on medication, certain restrictions and he will be under Doctor’s care the rest of his life, he is feeling good and doing great ❤️ He is nothing short of amazing and each and every day when I kiss that broad beautiful nose, I always smile and whisper “ who rescued who here big guy.”
Rambo is so grateful for his gift of life and love and he does not waste one second of one day paying it forward. I have learned so much in the eight years I have been rescuing senior and special medical needs animals. The gratitude, love and devotion they pay forward is priceless. We as humans could learn a lot from animals like Rambo, never give up no matter what, never look back and always live each day to the fullest ❤️ Forgiveness is a given, trust is earned and love, when truly felt from the heart, is always unconditional ❤️ tw, LNPB
Good night sweet angel Alley, mommy loves and misses you so ❤️
