Tonight two little dogs who were found freezing, hungry and huddled together hiding in rocks and weeds on the street, are together, safe, warm, have full bellies and they know they are loved ❤ Penny was snuggled up against her mom Perdie, protecting her and trying to keep her warm 💔 Through tears as I am typing this, I just can not fathom what they went through, scared, hungry and cold and yet they had each other, Penny never left her mommy's side and tonight they get to cuddle together in a comfy bed knowing their life matters ❤
I am not going to dwell on " who does this " what I am going to focus on is the miracle of how these two little dogs survived for who knows how long, on their own ❤ Animals never cease to amaze to me, they have a strong spirit, a fighting will to live and perhaps somewhere inside they hold on to the belief that someone will come along and help. There has never been a doubt in my mind that animals communicate with each other, that they comfort each other and that somehow they reassure each other that everything is going to be ok.
I continue to be astounded and in awe of God's most precious little creatures and gifts to us mere humans, they have so much to teach us and those of us that are lucky enough to listen and hear what they are trying to say, truly have been blessed by angels and know the meaning of a little slice of heaven right here on earth. On days when I feel like my heart cannot continue to do what I do, I receive a " God shot ", a divine intervention so to speak, and I realize that, in some small way, I, we, can make a difference in the life of an animal in need ❤
Tonight I am so overwhelmed with emotion as this rescue today really had an affect on me ❤ So please excuse and forgive my rambling and know that I appreciate and love all of you for always being here to hold my hand and pick me up when I falter. Sometimes the " rescuer " needs "rescuing" and I know you are always here. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for continuing to restore my faith in the goodness and kindness of the human race, for all you do for the animals and for your continued love and support. Thanks to you, Perdie and Penny can sleep peacefully tonight with nary a care in the world and, thanks to all of you, so can I ❤ Stay safe, stay well and God bless ❤ tw, LNPB
